Sekiro Shadows Die Twice 'Death' Kanji on Behance

Red "Kanji" perilous symbol is poorly designed Ive noticed this happen many times, but the Kanji symbol is more trouble than its worth. For any boss that is larger than the typical "human" size, its helpful. But for enemies like Genichiro or the Generals that arent hulking in size, the Kanji danger symbol will obscure their ENTIRE body.

2. 冥助あり Unseen aid (myoujoari) Don't mind the あり, it isn't really important here. 助 has the meaning of help, aid, assistance etc. 冥 is when things get a little tricky. It has many meanings, the most prominent being "gloomy", "deep" and "underworld", none of which correlate with what unseen aid is. But!

The perilous symbol just means you can't block the attack. Depending on which type of perilous attack it is, there are counters you can use. Thrusts: Deflect (blocking exactly when the attack hits) or Mikiri Counter (skill that lets you dash into the attack) Sweeps: Jump on the enemy. Grabs: You need to dodge or run away, can't counter.
